Businesses from all parts of Colombia made their presence in South Florida on the weekend of April 08th, 2011 at Expo Colombia Miami. The event took place at Miami Airport Convention Center; this is one of the largest exhibitions in the country to promote Colombia’s economy. This exhibition promoted industries including education, fashion, food and beverages, crafts, health and beauty, and technology. There was also a large number real estate companies promoting different properties in Colombia. ComReal Miami’s Industrial Team, the specialists in warehouses in Miami, attended the opening ceremony and visited the different business present. “This is really a great event to promote Colombia here in the United States; Colombia is one of the main trading partners with South Florida and the numbers of businesses present here supports that presence.” Added Edison Vasquez. Among the participants and organizers, was the Colombian American Chamber of Commerce, whose offices are at Miami Free Zone in Doral.
